CONGRATULATIONS to Chamber and Symphony Orchestra for placing 2nd in the OSAA State Championships. What a wonderful performance!! Love that silver trophy (you can see it in the display case at West, next to the auditorium entrance)

Congratulations to both Chamber Orchestra and Symphony for receiving OSAA championship qualifying scores at our district festival – we will know on April 24 if we our groups were selected to play at OSAA championships on May 11… stay tuned…

Congratulations to CJ who will be going to OSAA State Solo competition on viola as the winner of OMEA District IV competition that took play March 6. State Solo will be on April 28 – good luck CJ! Thank you Walker and Straub middle school for playing on our snow day rescheduled Spring Concert April 3 – we loved the Pink Panther!
Congratulations to 8 students accepted to this year’s Salem-Keizer All City Orchestra – concert is February 25 at North High School
Thank you to parents and symphony members for being flexible when our January 19 concert was canceled due to flood issues. The concert on January 23 was wonderful!
WINTER AT WEST was a great success this year. Stay tuned for more information about our Chamber Music unit (videos will be posted at the end of January) and our Spring concerts.
